Training and Foundation

We begin socializing Jack Russell Terrier puppies shortly after birth through regular handling and tactile stimulation by 3-4 weeks we are introducing brief, supervised outdoor trips with their mother to explore safe, enclosed areas. This builds confidence and exposes them to new stimuli while leveraging the mother’s calming presence. Around 5-6 weeks, crate training starts, using positive reinforcement—treats, toys, and praise—to make the crate a cozy, safe space. Puppies are gradually acclimated to short periods in the crate. By 6-8 weeks, house training begins with a consistent schedule of outdoor potty breaks, rewarding successful eliminations to reinforce the habit, setting puppies up for success before they go to new homes around 8-12 weeks.
